As an artist my interest is in interpreting creatively what is in front of me. My photographs and works on paper are part real and part distortion. I have worked with water colour for the past 16 years. I love the way the wet in wet process randomly creates its own atmosphere. I have been involved in many art groups particularly focussed on life drawing and water colour painting. My current work is leading me further into abstraction and the enjoyment of using wet in wet colour and granulation bleeds.
Port Phillip Bay particularly around Mentone and Beaumaris has been an inspiration for much of my painting.

About the artist
My interest in all things art started as a young child growing up with images by my father who was a professional photographer. My brother, sister and I created art during high school and into our tertiary studies.
