Solutions to Rent

Rent Control is a possible solutions to be able to afford rent. Rent Control means that the landlord has to give a minimum amount of how much is going to be payed and rent can only increse by 3% every year. This can be helpful because it gives the tenant an amount of rent that they know they can afford. Without rent control people would go through the fear of their rent increasing more than 5% per year. There is some controversy about this solution but it can be helpful towards low income households.
