But First, a Pipeline

If you're going to drill a well, it's important to make sure all of that water can get into your water distribution system. While District staff picked a great location to drill a well, it wasn't exactly close to the rest of the water system. But since we can't pick where the water is under the ground, we have to extend the system to where the water is. Sort of like leading a horse to water. In this case, District staff had to install about 5,280 linear feet of pipe to the new location. That's a mile of pipe!
