NH Winter Bike to Work Day

NH Winter Bike to Work Day 2024 is officially in the books! Thank you to our event sponsors and partners who helped make this an exciting challenge. Together we had:

• 11 commuter support stations
• 87 commuters who pledged to ride
• 1 Winter Biking 101 Class
• 4 designated Park & Pedal Locations

International Winter Bike to Work Day takes place on the 2nd Friday in February each year, all around the globe. It's a great introduction to winter commuting and encourages riders to push their mental and physical limits.

Way to go! By taking the pledge, 87 riders showed that Granite Staters have got what it takes to bike year round!

Manchester Transit is here to help! All MTA buses have easy-to-use bike racks. Ride the bus with your bike on Winter Bike to Work Day (2/9) and get a free ride! To view the route and schedule, please click  here .

You may also consider driving part of the way, unloading your bicycle, and pedaling the rest of the way to your destination!

Shorter days, colder temperatures, and wet conditions present different challenges this time of year. Whether you're brand new to winter biking or just need a refresher, you're invited to attend  REI Bedford 's Winter Biking 101 class. The class will take place at REI Bedford (located at 7 Market St. Ste 1, Bedford, NH 03110) on Friday, February 2nd from 6-7pm and is free to attend. No registration is required- just show up!
