Conveniently located near the Bevill State Community College - Jasper Campus on Gamble Avenue, it consists of a walking track, beautiful birdhouses, a playground and a creek, which runs down the middle of the park. Picnic benches and tables are scattered throughout the park. Perfect for anyone looking for a nice, quiet walk or picnic. The park was renovated to preserve wetland areas with funding from the State of Alabama. Thanks to a contibution of Dr. Jerald Sherer a Cardio Trail was added as a optional branch of the walking trail.

The newest park in downtown Jasper offers a small walking track with a Pavilion and picnic table. The park iwas developed by the local Kiwanis Club and named for a long-time member - Stanley Wade.

The Jasper Civic Center is a multi-use facility equipped for accommodating functions from craft shows and health fairs, family reunions, and wedding receptions, to corporate training and concerts.

Jasper Natatorium

 Located within Memorial Park at 10th Avenue and 6th Street, the Natatorium features an in-ground swimming pool that hosts Jasper's active swim team, The Sharks.

Memorial Park is Jasper's oldest and largest park, located in the historic North Highlands area of the city Within the park are pavilions, a playground, softball and t-ball fields, a mile-long outdoor walking track, a pond, the natatorium and outdoor swimming pools, Lee Swann Gym, three soccer fields and Senior Citizens Recreation Center. Memorial Park is a very nice place for any family to enjoy the outdoors. The five softball fields are centrally located within Memorial Park at 14th Avenue and 6th Street. All youth and adult softball games are played here.

APEX Playground

The APEX Playground, which stands for Accessible Playground Extreme Experience, is accessible to the physically challenged. It is located at Memorial Park surrounded by Woods Walking Trail, the Natatorium, the pond, and a pavilion. The perfect place for a family picnic!

Town Creek Park

Town Creek Park is located between Town Creek and 1st Avenue adjoining the Maddox Middle School Campus, featuring a rock walking bridge built in the 1930s as a WPA project and a playground area. In September of 2021, a new section of Town Creek Park opened  - the Rotary Fitness Pocket Park, which offers a walking area as well as outdoor fitness equipment.

On the National Historic Register, The Bankhead House was the home to William Brockman Bankhead. William served as Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives and built his family home which is now the Heritage Center.

The home now offers exhibits featuring the descendants of John Hollis Bankhead, Sr. including William Brockman Bankhead.
