Kelzang's Map Story

Kelzang is originally from the dzongkhag [district] of Mongar, in rural and remote eastern Bhutan. He currently resides in the capital city of Thimphu, the largest and most urban city in Bhutan, and studies music with other young adults with visual impairment. There are few opportunities like this in Mongar.

Kelzang's personal locations are not exact for the sake of his privacy. Some public locations are given with more accuracy

I play the Yangchen, a Bhutanese instrument similar to a hammered dulcimer that is used in traditional songs and dances. I train at the Blind Music Training Institute.
