Gateway Park Wetland and Habitat Enhancement Project

This project aims to improve the ecological function of the wetland and habitat along the Malden River by managing invasive plants and introducing native habitat species in the Gateway Park.
The main objective is to enhance wetland and riparian habitat to support birds and pollinator species, while also promoting climate resilience and community health and safety in the area.

The Project’s goal is to enhance climate resiliency and ecological function of the riparian zone by facilitating monitoring, maintenance, and habitat restoration activities that would directly benefit birds and pollinator species.
