Adv. Manufacturing Resources
Georgia Advanced Manufacturing Center. Created by QuickStart and provides a range of advanced manufacturing training in mechatronics, control systems, automation and robotics, sensors, and networked wireless systems.
Georgia Cyber Center. Located in Augusta, Georgia, and provides a hub for training in cybersecurity research, training, partnerships, and startups. The center is the largest state investment in a cybersecurity facility in the United States and offers educational programs from the sub-bachelor’s certificate level through the graduate level.
Aviation Training @ Savannah Technical College. Savannah Technical College partners with Gulfstream in a campus training center that provides training to avionics technicians and airframe and power plant mechanics.
Georgia Bioscience Training Center. Located in the Stanton Springs development east of Atlanta, the center provides customized training programs to support bioscience companies in workforce training.
Atlanta MBDA Advanced Manufacturing Center. The Atlanta MBDA (Minority Business Development Agency) Advanced Manufacturing Center, operated by Georgia Tech Research Corporation, provides targeted assistance to minority manufacturers to increase the number of “Made in America” products that can be sold domestically and globally. The center also provides specialized advanced manufacturing programs, and provide technical and business development services.
